Year 5 had a brilliant visit from Cooking4Life earlier this week which concluded in an amazing Tudor banquet (complete with costumes of course!).
The children learned about the type of food that was available for each social class and the new foods which were introduced during the Tudor period. After preparing the food in the morning, they sat down and enjoyed the banquet in the afternoon.
And, it wasn't just any banquet, we had our very own Henry VIII with his courtiers, we shared the riddles that we had written to entertain the king and then took part in some Tudor dancing.
