During the first week of their 'Oh I do like to be beside the seaside' topic, the children read The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch and made healthy fruit lighthouses and sandwiches, inspired by the story.
Reception learned how to prepare fruits and vegetables by washing and cutting them as well as the importance of hand washing. Finally, they wrote instructions on how to make their yummy lighthouse sandwiches!
