This week our Reception children have been listening to different nursery rhymes and discussing the patterns within them. The children have been clapping the beat and then playing hot cross buns on the glockenspiel, using the coloured keys to help them.
The children played in groups, played solo using the colours and then played along as a group while we sang the lyrics to hot cross buns. Reception are natural musicians!
