Our Year 3 class recently ventured out to the Hancock Museum.
The group explored the Roman exhibit looking at different artefacts, labelling Hadrian's Wall and looking at items that had been found by archaeologists at Roman forts in the North East. The class took part in a workshop to learn more about what the Romans did when they first arrived in Britannia. While at the museum the group also explored other exhibits that linked to their previous topics such as fossils and animals.
