Last Friday, we saw the return of our summer fayre. Thankfully, the weather was on our side and the sun came out as our wonderful community pulled together to support our amazing children and school.
Our outdoor area was filled with stalls including tombolas and fairground games. We also had a very special visitor - a Storm Trooper! The icing on the cake was when Mr Ratton stepped into the stocks as part of 'soak a teacher' with backup from Mr Cain and Mr Bell.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful children and families. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated. We would also like to thank the local businesses who kindly donated raffle prizes and supported the event - Bespoke, The Village Deli, The Woodshed Workshop, Turning Heads Hair Salon, Beamish Museum, Krazy Kingdom, Washington Wildlife Trust, Empire Theatre Consett many more.
