SAC-RIS-TON, SAC-RIS-TON!💪 Yesterday a number of our children took part in the first NELT athletics festival at Gateshead Stadium, where all North East Learning Trust schools came together for a brilliant day of sports, fun and positivity.💪🤩
Our children entered the sun-filled stadium chanting and waving their school banner with pride, before heading off to compete in a range of athletics events including turbo javelin and relay. Team Sacriston displayed brilliant sportsmanship throughout the day by cheering on their teammates and children from other schools. Memphis, Lexus, Katie, Ernie, Sam, Kayaan, Lucas, Riley, Theo and Maisey even came away with some medals! It was a lovely day where our children made lasting memories and new friends.
